We don't promise a price. And we're not going to the moon.
A personal note from Miha Štefe, founder of LOVE Coin — on why two phrases I hear every week make me uncomfortable, and what we actually build instead.
Almost every week someone tells me: "Miha, LOVE Coin will hit $1!" or "LOVE Coin to €1!" Others, more boldly: "LOVE Coin to the moon!"
I understand where it comes from. It's the language of crypto. But honestly — both phrases make me uncomfortable. And I want to say, publicly, why.
First: predicting the price of a coin is impossible. Anyone who tells you they know where the price is going — is either fooling themselves, or fooling you. LOVE Coin's price is set publicly on the Stellar DEX, every second, by what people actually pay for it. Neither I, nor the team, nor the best trader in the world knows where it will be in a month, a year, or ten years. Every time I'd say "$1" or "€1", I'd be doing exactly what I criticize in every other project: promising something I can't deliver.
Second: "to the moon." Honestly — what the hell are we going to do on the moon? There's no water. No air. No life. The only thing up there is — if you believe the theories — some old Nazi base and dust. We are not building a coin to escape Earth. We are building it so that here, on Earth, we have better tools: fair exchange, our own wallet, our own mail, our own browser, local credit for entrepreneurs, support for creators, and beautiful things for everyday life.
So I ask you — if you're part of our community — don't say "LOVE Coin to $1." Don't say "to the moon." Say instead: "I use LOVE Coin because it makes my life easier." Or: "With this platform I pay, I earn rewards, I learn." Those are real things you can verify today, not promises for tomorrow.
The price will be what it will be. Our job is to make sure the project is worth what people pay for it. No more, no less.
— Miha Štefe, founder of LOVE Coin
No price targets
We will never publish a target price for LOVE Coin — not $1, not €1, not any number. The price is whatever the live Stellar DEX shows. Anything else would be a guess dressed as a promise.
No moon-talk
The moon is a beautiful rock. It is also lifeless. "To the moon" treats a coin like a lottery ticket. We treat LOVE Coin like a tool — for use here, on Earth, today.
What we say instead
- ✓"LOVE Coin is useful to me today" — because you can pay, earn rewards, learn, send, receive, build.
- ✓"The live price is X" — verifiable on Stellar DEX, no prediction attached.
- ✓"The ecosystem is growing on Earth" — more merchants, more creators, more tools, more local utility.
- ✓"You decide if it's worth it" — based on what you actually use, not on what someone promises.
What we will not say — ever
- ✗ "LOVE Coin will reach $1."
- ✗ "LOVE Coin will reach €1."
- ✗ "LOVE Coin to the moon."
- ✗ "Guaranteed returns."
- ✗ "This is the next Bitcoin / Ethereum / Solana."
- ✗ "Buy now or regret it later."
If you ever see anyone on the team using these phrases — call us out. We mean it.
